New accounts and updating your details
Why does my account not work?
All accounts must be verified before you can use the Sudoku generators and solvers. You will have received a welcome email containing your account details. Simply follow the instructions in your email to verify your account.
Why do you need to verify my email address?
Valid email addresses are vital for a number of reasons.
- Firstly, we can only send you a copy of your account details to you if your email address is working.
- Secondly, any generated or solved Sudoku will be emailed to your account address by default. If this address does not exist, then you lose your Sudoku.
- Finally, many members would like to receive news from Super Sudoku delivered to their email inbox. Obviously, if the email address is bad, you will miss out here.
How do I change my email address?
You can change the email address for your account in your profile.
Your new email address will need to be verified, by clicking the button in the verification email that you receive, to complete the process.
Why do you close some accounts?
Any accounts created with invalid details for the name or email address will be removed.
You may only have one free account per person; multiple accounts will be removed. If you wish to generate more Sudoku puzzles per day, please consider upgrading to a full account.
If the email address listed in your account no longer works, your account may be removed.
People who continually create multiple free accounts or continually enter invalid details will be banned. Anyone found breaking our copyright guidelines will be banned.
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to delete your account, you can do so here. Please note that this will permanently remove your account.
However, if you only wish to unsubscribe from receving newsletters, simply untick the newsletter option in your profile. If you only wish to stop receving Daily Sudoku emails, please update your Daily Sudoku preferences.
Other account issues

Why can’t I stay logged in?
There is a cookie problem if you are continually redirected to the login page after you have logged in. You need to enable session cookies in your browser.
How do I enable session cookies?
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools | Internet Options | Privacy | Advanced... then tick "Override automatic cookie handling" and then tick "Always allow session cookies". Other browsers will have this under Tools | Settings | Cookies.

If you wish to take part in a newspaper competition, you may solve a Sudoku and email it to yourself. From here, you will be able to forward it on to the competition email address. If you want to take part a postal entry, simply print off your Sudoku and send it in.
You may not sell Sudoku puzzles generated here in any form. They may not be used on any external website or publication without prior permission. If you are unsure about our Sudoku copyright, please contact us.

My Sudoku is invalid with multiple solutions.
Your Sudoku has not been generated at Super Sudoku. All of our Sudoku, Super Sudoku and Samurai Sudoku puzzles are verified before display. In addition, the Sudoku generator program only uses varying levels of logic to create the puzzles. Guessing is not logical, guaranteeing that all the Sudoku here are unique.
If you are using the Sudoku solvers, multiple solutions simply reflect badly on the source of the Sudoku.
I would like to use your Sudoku in my publication.
We provide Sudoku for many different publications around the world, please view the Sudoku Syndication page for more information. Please contact us today and see what we can offer you.
